Apart from classic examples of our epics of Ramayana and Mahabharatha...we have lot of examples in our present-day world also to tell us how worse will be the world if women is not respected properly..
In Srilanka most of teenagers said that they have become part of LTTE because of atrocities against few or all of women in their families.- Hitler became such a violent person because of some incidents happened to his mother in his child hood.
- Sivaji got support and revolted because of atrocities of the then rulers against women of other religion
Satwanth singh promised in golden temple to kill Indira Gandhi only after he believed that army sent by Indira gandhi did some great insults their women( though I have great respect for Indian army, I am putting here what he and most of the media believed to happened..)..
But a million dollar question is how we are bringing up our children or siblings or cousins?...whether we are imparting in them utmost respect for women which she deserves? "Yatra Naryastu Pujyante, Ramante Tatra Devata"...(Women Are Honored Where, Divinity Blossoms There)
